Consistently gives a shave as smooth as glass. The razor has a nice diameter to it for a secure grip. It is aluminum so it took a few shaves to get used to the light weight. This one is a winner and in my regular rotation!

I find the razor to be a quality build but the shave it provides is, for me, just average regardless the bottom plate used.

First of all, thank you Kyle for your availability and for your answers to my many questions.
I bought this razor and used it after several months of using another razor.
I had a bit of trouble getting used to the angle and using it properly.
The result was a series of bad shaves and irritations.
Then I waited two days and took the time to use it properly.
The result: a magnificent, almost BBS shave
With some touch-ups, but that's normal in my case (a little flesh on the face).
In short, my best shaver yet.
Plate 2 gives me a great reassge
Plate 3 is mainly for touch-ups

I bought the CR7 on a whim and I'm glad I did. I have and have had tons of razors in all materials and price tiers and the CR7 is up there with my top notch razors. I bought it with plate #3 since I wanted the most aggressive and efficient version and I think it was the right choice.
It's definitely not aggressive and I'd still consider it on the milder end but it's super efficient.
Very little blade feel, smooth and efficient!
One thing to point out is the weight (44g), it's on the heavy end for an aluminum razor which is great. It feels solid, balanced and the fit & finish is superb.
Overall a great razor!
