CR7 Safety Razor

It's surprisingly good for such a light razor. The razor looks great and is well-built. (I have the black version)
The razor is very nimble, and despite being ultra-light, I got a very comfortable and relatively close shave.
I am happy with this purchase. :-)

I love this light-weight razor. I've been collecting and trading razors for years, and own about 50 at the moment. I generally prefer stainless steel for the heft and balance. But I like this Colonial, a lot! I bought all 3 plates and have been using it for the past two weeks. I started with Plate #2, but after getting used to it, found Plate #3 suited me best. Then yesterday was a beautiful day, so I went for a hike and my face got sun-and-wind-burned. Today I tried Plate #1, which was perfect. Very mild, safe and effective. Not as close as I prefer, but my damaged face didn't want that. Over-all, this is a great razor, well balanced, and machined to very tight tolerances with no blade chatter. If you want a light-weight, aluminum razor, this is the one.

Consistently gives a shave as smooth as glass. The razor has a nice diameter to it for a secure grip. It is aluminum so it took a few shaves to get used to the light weight. This one is a winner and in my regular rotation!

I find the razor to be a quality build but the shave it provides is, for me, just average regardless the bottom plate used.

Excellent razor simple and very effective.
